Through the Last Lens is a documentary that explores the fading tradition of handcrafted spectacles, following one of the last remaining craftsmen who still creates lenses and frames using techniques passed down through generations.
The film looks at the history, skill, and beauty behind this craft while highlighting the risk of these traditional techniques disappearing completely. I worked on the editing and color grading for the project, shaping the pacing and visual tone of the documentary while bringing out the character, atmosphere, and emotion behind the craftsman’s story.
